Cigar Workers’ University is a site-specific augmented reality monument installed at La Marqueta in East Harlem. Through animation, sound, and archival layering, the monument honors the radical reading traditions of Puerto Rican cigar workers and the multilingual labor cultures that shaped early Latino New York.
