Explore The Shape of Cities to Come Institute’s flagship peership program, which convenes organizers, activists, thinkers, cultural workers, and artists from across New York City's communities and movements over 15 months to work collectively to transform our cities from the ground up.

A group of people in a room gathered around a large board covered with colorful notes and diagrams. One person is standing and pointing at the board, while others are sitting and taking notes. The setting appears to be a workshop or group discussion in a casual, creative space.

PUBLIC PROGRAMS

As part of our public programming, The Shape of Cities to Come Institute organizes public dialogues to explore themes related to one or more of our three pillars: storytelling, urban contradictions, and political ecologies. Public dialogues are not presentations or lectures—we invite conversation between our guests and the audience to critically and curiously explore ideas and experiences.
